“It’s still quite sleek and streamlined,” says Nick, “and it’s usually made of natural materials, oftentimes made of wood. (…) I just really, really love this chair.”

“We’re gonna talk about traditional for a second!” says Nick. Until now, we were talking about more modern designs. But let’s talk about some royal stuff now.
The “Louise” chairs (XIV, XV, XVI) are very much iconic and different from each other. A timeless and classic design that has been around for many centuries, its details are so pretty. It’s like traveling back in time.
If that’s your design style, you’ll see a lot of ornamentation, a lot of detailing,” says Nick Lewis, “beautifully crafted woodwork, (…) that’s very common in this style.”
