This is an excellent recipe for those looking to cut back on the amount of time they spend in the kitchen. With only four ingredients, it’s easy to put together and can be enjoyed in various ways. Great for those times you need a quick snack and it also works as part of breakfast!

Attention: if you follow a vegan diet, you can cook this recipe without the Mozzarella Cheese. It will be just as good! Don’t forget to season it well to suit your taste.

Preparing: 35 min.
Cooking: 6-8 min.
Serves 4 to 6 people as a snack

Ingredients:

  • 400g of Potatoes
  • 6 tbsp of Rice Flour
  • 2 tbsp of Sugar
  • 1 cup of Mozzarella Cheese Cubes

    Attention: Garlic Salt and Black Pepper, to taste (optional)

Instructions:

  • Peel and slice the potatoes into 1-inch slices
  • Steam the potatoes for 20 minutes / until soft
  • Smash the potatoes until smooth
  • Add in the rice flour and the sugar and mix all together
  • Roll 2 tbsp of dough into a ball and form a dent in the middle
  • Add in the cheese cubes
  • With your thumb, press the filling down and wrap it up
  • Roll the dough until it forms back into a ball
  • Add oil to a pan, (enough for the potato to be ⅓ covered)
  • Turn the heat to medium-high
  • Add the potato to the hot oil and lightly press it down to flatten
  • Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown

    Pay attention to the frying part, the cheese might burst.
