Quick, easy, and tasty. These Golden Flapjacks are one of the easiest recipes to make, they only take 30 minutes to bake and 4 ingredients to make! Can you believe this? They’re wonderful treats for a sudden sweet tooth in the middle of the night. They are so simple to bake you’re gonna be making them all the time. They’re sure to become a regular at your house!

The Flapjacks also work as a quick breakfast or as a snack. We love them because they’re super tasty, easy and quick to make, and also healthy! They’re packed with protein and healthy fats!

Don’t forget that you can always make them even more interesting by adding different toppings like dried fruit, seeds, chocolate chips, and desiccated coconut.

Servings: 12 pieces

Add some nuts and dark chocolate chips on top!

Ingredients:

  • 250g jumbo porridge oats
  • 125g butter
  • 125g light brown sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp golden syrup 

Obs: save some butter for the baking tin.

Instructions:

  • Heat the oven to 200C/180C
  • Put the oats, butter, sugar, and golden syrup in a food processor and pulse until mixed.
  • Lightly butter a 20 x 20cm baking tin
  • Add the mixture
  • Press into the corners with the back of a spoon so the mixture is flat
  • Score into 12 squares
  • Bake for around 15 mins until golden brown.
