A lot can change in just three years. Especially when it comes to interior design. In the past two decades, many trends have come and gone, and we’ve seen a lot of new ones take hold. We saw a lot of 60s designs in the 2010s, but it’s not as trendy anymore. And some trends are so short-lived that when you look back on them three years later, you’re like: “What was I even thinking with that inflatable furniture?

You’re already aware of the popular decor trends that are on the rise, but have you ever wondered about the ones that will be left behind? There are a few trends that we expect to continue, but also a few that we believe will be gone by 2023. This article explores some of the trends we think will fade away and what you may want to consider before investing in them.

Tiled Countertops

Ceramic tile countertops are making a comeback. The trend has been a constant for decades. The style started in the 70s, was popular throughout the 80s, and continued into the 2000s.

Some cool contemporary approaches to this trend can be really beautiful.

There are many misconceptions about which type of tile is appropriate. So firstly, you must make sure that the tile you choose is going to withstand the daily use that it’s going to get and any abuse that somebody might dish out if they drop something on it or cut their finger while using it. From there you also need to look at how porous grout will affect the product itself, how easy it will be to keep clean due to oils and food particles, and grease coming off your hands when you’re cooking. And then what kind of chips or scratches can happen due to normal wear and tear? What does not come into play often when dealing with someone who wants ceramic tiles for their countertop is cost. I mean, it’s already expensive enough as it is! But if cost were no object, my first choice would be porcelain or enameled cast iron rather than ceramic; simply because ceramic can chip more easily–especially if abused–and porcelain just looks nicer.

Tiled countertops tend to look dated as soon as they’re installed. While some may be willing to sacrifice timeless style for a retro look, in our opinion this simple and classic material looks best when it is kept in modern homes.

Sculptural Accent Chairs

Sculptural accent chairs are perfect for anyone who loves bold design and doesn’t enjoy looking like everyone else. They add a nice element of fun to your living room or bedroom, and if you love bold patterns and colors, go ahead, and incorporate them into your home decor!

The biggest problem with these elements is that they are decorative and not even a bit useful or comfortable. We believe that a practical and beautiful chair must also be comfortable. In addition, we believe that the piece should be able to bring forth dignity and elegance to every living room.

Carnival Core

The Carnival Core brings the art deco style back with a twist and brings color and joy to your space. In the background, you will find geometric lines and shapes, while colorful birds are flying in a vibrant world.

If you want to add a little bit of something different to the decor of your home and make it more exciting, you can find a fantastic carnival core piece of furniture. The Carnival Core Design is good for children’s bedrooms, playrooms, and nurseries and will bring a smile to your face every day!

However, Let’s face it, the carnival can be wild and crazy, but it also can be tricky to know how many colors to use. You won’t want your home to look overwhelming and grotesque. Just make sure you’re not overdoing it.

If you’re into those trends, add them to your home. In the end, your style is what matters!
